Neil Battoni

Senior Project Manager

Value Delivered

Neil's careful attention to detail ensures that every job site is safe, well-organized and properly equipped for consistently smooth, on-time project delivery. During project start up, he reviews the drawings to ensure that conduit runs, feeder sizes and other components have been scoped correctly to achieve the client's objectives. He also identifies special needs for items such as switchgears, panel boards and fire alarms.

At the jobsite, he works with the firm's information technology people and others to mobilize a fully functioning office. In addition to obtaining trailers, he oversees installation of the electrical power, telephones, internet connections and other items required for efficient day-to-day operations. When the jobsite is ready, he prepares schedules and manpower charts. He also makes sure the required tradespeople are available at the appropriate times.

As the project progresses, he manages schedules and budgets, reviews cost reports, and negotiates and prices change orders. And at project completion, he supervises closeout and commissioning activities. The result is the expert and responsive customer care required to build high-quality facilities and long-term relationships.

Expertise

Neil has more than 17 years of electrical construction industry experience, including nearly a decade as a project manager. Prior to joining Forest, he was a project manager at Kleinknecht Electric, where he was responsible for coordinating electrical installations on commercial and industrial projects. He also provided AutoCAD installation drawings. Whether he was working with clients or foremen, however, his electrical expertise and management skills resulted in consistently productive and cooperative relationships.

A licensed electrical contractor in New Jersey and a member of IBEW Local #102, Neil is an IBEW-certified journeyman electrician. In addition, he has taken AutoCAD Level 1, maximizing AutoCAD, AutoCad 2008 MEP/3D and other AutoCAD training seminars, as well as the National Electrical Contractors Association's (NECA's) estimating course. He also has his 70E certification from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and is trained in lockout/tagout procedures.

The Personal Side

Neil and his wife, Jody, have three children, Neil, Sean and Nicolette. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, his favorite pastime.
