Value Delivered
Andy ensures sophisticated electrical systems installation for clients that need to keep their facilities operating smoothly, energy efficiently and productively. Before an electrical contractor project starts, he reviews estimates and contracts to be sure they include the time and materials required to effectively meet client goals. Then, as the electrical contractor project begins, he develops a schedule, establishes project objectives, works with his foremen to generate necessary shop drawings and monitors field activities to ensure that the project team is meeting its schedule. He also negotiates and prices change orders, tracks job costs and oversees project closeouts. The result is high-quality electrical systems that deliver the performance necessary for superior client satisfaction and strong ongoing relationships.
Electrical Systems Project Management Expertise
Andy completed his apprenticeship through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #581. He then took a foreman's position with Allan Electric, where he worked for 20 years. Before joining Forest Electric in 2005, he held project manager posts at Klienknecht and Briteway Electric.
In addition to OSHA 30-hour training, Andy has participated in K.E. O'Brien Associates' jobsite productivity training as well as the National Electrical Contractors Association's (NECA's) change order management and estimating seminars.
The Personal Side
Andy and his wife have four daughters. In addition to spending time with his family, he also enjoys playing ice hockey and softball, going kayaking, singing in his church choir and restoring a 1969 Corvette.
